About Katherine:
I have spent hours and hours in the classroom for the past six years in a community education environment in Ontario, Canada. I am a front line instructor to new immigrants and adult learners who need basic English for everyday living. I have taught hundreds of adults with the alphabet, speaking English for their basic personal information, reading small texts to understand the world around them and how to speak English in the community quickly.
Additionally, I have taught Academic English at Queen’s University and York University, Glendon Campus in Ontario, Canada. I really enjoy working with learners who need help with reading and support this with foundation phonics and word building.
I’m an English language teacher with years of experience teaching English as a Second Language to adults from all over the planet! I specialize in Literacy, Beginner English and Academic English.
